Directly influenced by desires and impulses music has no other issue than the body » Jacques Attali . Jim X is its illustration Let me tell you the story of Jymmy Santovito, Jim X and…above all….. Let yourself be guided by his talent …. His life is musical; his passion began when he was five years old as soon as he touched his first guitar. Very quickly, his talent was identified and easily he began learning guitar, bass, drums, piano and vocals. By definition, a musician can have two meanings. The first one is a person who composes, who plays music, and the second one focuses on the knowledge of this art. Jim-X is a musician by both definitions. He composes, plays, remixes and animates. Please find the details of his musical background: 1995: JIM- X with DJ FOU released an album called “Nyctolopie” under the Universal Label, followed by a nightclub Promotional tour. Meanwhile, JIM-X and DJ FOU worked on another Tekno Tribal concept called PERCUSOUND; 2000: Release of “Call of the jungle” initially edited by International Records and reedited the next year under Bio Records, giving rise to various remixes. 2001: Percusound “Skin and woods echoes” and “”When the forest sings” under International Rec. At the same time, JIM-X worked as both a composer and as a DJ, and continues improving his knowledge regarding musical creation software and engineering sound. 2004: In collaboration with Pascal Garmendia, a sound engineer, in Color Box studio, JIM-X produced “GIVIN TO ME”, first edited by Hypertraxx Rec. This song hit the charts in Eastern European countries and in Canada (Top 50 in France and Top 10 in Canada). This track is present on different techno best of albums. During 2004, various tracks were edited in Techno compilations such as Chymik – Thunder in Heaven – Bass Kick 2005: Production of two remixes of Spencer ‘Feeling' edited by Hypertraxx Rec, present on different compilations such as “Mix up Fun Radio 2005” Still inspired by novelties, composition, Jim-X decides, at this stage of his life, to compose for himself as DJ. Thanks to his hard work, his passion, JIM-X became an atypical artist who could easily make people dance, have fun, make them dream!! The only way to prove this is to see him mix and animate a dance floor: Only one word: AMAZING. Jim-X is a music specialist and has the recognition of the profession. Middle 2005, JIM-X in collaboration with Georges Flachon produced “Feel the love”, edited by DiscoR Record in 2006. JIM-X, as precursor, bet on the dance sound feedback even if no one believed in that at this period. 2006: Creation of SOUNDFORGERS with Cedric Cance :The track ‘The buzz' edited by Hype-Traxx Rec is a real success – ranked in Yacast, Top 20 for one month and ranked during 16 weeks- 2007: Under SUNDAY's acronym, release of “BEGIN to BIGUINE” edited by Hype-Traxx Rec : This track was a real buzz, it was ranked in Top 50 in France ( Positice rec & Universal) Begin to Biguine was created in 2003. At this period, Biguine style was considered as Old-fashioned. JIM X believed in its feedback and didn't hesitate to bet on this rhythm. 2008: JIM-X featuring SYREEN released ‘DANCING' – Enur Style- and was ranked in 27th position. This track is the initiator of this musical sphere of influence, surfing on the Enur Style rhythm. You can note that, after that, Sandy Ground Factory, Barrio System and Pitt Bull used this rhythm for their buzz. The same year: Edition of Pussy Hole from Mahbool 2009: Release of the tracks “WHAT IS GOD” and Sunday “Para Bailar” , Compilations of different tracks such as planet beat & bass (big trans mix), Madiaba, Touch my dirty ass, As U want, Snooze between 2005 and 2009 JIM-X is an accomplished musician thanks to his hard work. Currently working on various productions: both for his own use but also for other artists in order to create new sounds, to innovate. Musician above all, JIM X is able to vary and to play with different styles. He also composes & creates in, for example, Club style, Underground, rock etc..
